Former India cricketer Deep Dasgupta has suggested three players who could replace the injured players in the Indian squad for the five-match Test series in England.
India arrived in the country with a 24-member squad, which has already reached 21 and the BCCI has not yet decided whether to send players to the UK as an alternative. However, Deep Dasgupta has three players to his name, who perfectly fit the needs of the team.
Deep Dasgupta selected two Indian swing bowlers
Deep Dasgupta wanted India to choose either Bhuvneshwar Kumar or Deepak Chahar, who can bowl the ball well and is very effective in English conditions. Both the players are in good form in the series against Sri Lanka and Bhubaneswar have experience playing in these conditions. they will effective with the Red Duke ball in England.
Prithvi Shaw may be a good choice, Deep Dasgupta feels
Deeb Dasgupta could be an option for the young Prithvi Shaw opening slot as Schubman Gill was injured and missed the England series. Shaw is in excellent form over the bowler with the word go and Dasgupta said that Shaw is not a bad choice with his current form.
India have not won a single Test series in England since 2007 and they are looking to break the record soon.
